2. Public User Content
All user profiles on BalkTalk Chat are public.
All messages within public groups are visible to all users.
Messages in closed groups are visible only to members of those groups.
Private messages between users are not public, but administrators have access to all messages (public and private) strictly for safety and content moderation.
Private messages are never made public or misused, and confidentiality is respected.
3. Cookies
We use cookies for:
Site functionality (login, language settings, etc.)
Analytics through Google Analytics (visits, session time, engagement)
By using the site, you consent to the use of cookies. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
4. Data Collection and Processing
We only collect minimal personal data that you voluntarily provide (e.g., email, username).
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties without your consent, unless legally required.
We also use your email address and name for occasional BalkTalk news, sent via Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) as our data processor. You can unsubscribe in Settings → Email notifications (“News from BalkTalk”) and in every such email; a deleted account is also removed from the Brevo list.
Your data is protected using appropriate security measures (password hashing, secure servers, etc.).
